Weizenbier originated in Bavaria in the early 16th century. Exclusively brewed by aristocracy for more than 250 years, the ordinary people only obtained the right to brew it in 1856. To be labeled Weizen in Germany, the beer must have at least 50% wheat as part as grain used.
5% alc./vol IBU 12. Slightly hazy and effervescent; brew from 67% wheat. Beautiful balance of fruits (banana) and spices (clove) flavors and aromas.
