Edinburg, the brewing center of Scotland since the 16th century is famous for brewing Scotch Ale. There are two major reasons for this, firstly the city sits on a very soft water aquifer that makes it possible to brew it and secondly the cold climate of the region is perfect for its low temperature fermentation and cold conditioning, like a lager. We brewed our Scotch Ale for the centuries-old Scottish tradition using the original ingredients.

The perfect match according to Martin Thibault, Les Coureurs des Boires
Its richly caramelized cereals will love your ribs’ BBQ sauce, while its warming alcohol will cut through the dish’s nourishing fat. For a healthier pairing, go for vegetable fried rice. The wok’s cooking aromas will be enhanced by the beer’s deep malts. And for a really unhealthy option (sorry), light up your best cigar to finish your glass. Or sit next to someone who is smoking one in order to bask in its earthy and chocolaty tobacco perfume. Another delightfully aromatic possibility for Scotch Ales.
